Today is a BIG day for me! It's my first birthday and I feel so grown up now. I got this cool party shirt and a new bone to chew on, too. Things are changing as I get older: no more puppy food for me. I weigh five whole pounds now and Mom calls me her little piggy. Silly mom, I'm still a dog! I bet I could eat a whole bowl full of dog crunchies if she would let me.
When I'm not eating or playing or hanging out on the laundry pile I am practicing my snuggle technique. One of my favorite things is curling up on Mom and Dad's lap or shoulder at night. It's the perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Dad says if I'm good then someday I'll get to sleep on the big bed all night instead of just during naptimes.
